Living in the light of eternity

Luke 16:1-13

1. Be wise and use our wealth now in the light of eternity (1-9)
   • People who are not Christians are often shrewder than Christians (8)
   • Make friends who will welcome you in eternity (9)
     • Who are the ‘friends’?
2. Be faithful in this ‘little’ matter of wealth and we will receive true riches from God (10-13)
   • We are saved by grace, not payment
   • Our use of money points to who is the master of our heart (13)
   • Be faithful with what God has lent us now (12)

Discussion questions

• How can we grow our hearts to be more generous?
• What are some practical ideas as to how we could use our wealth strategically for God’s kingdom?
