Luke 9:51-62

Jesus resolutely sets out on the road to the cross (51)

Reactions to Jesus and his call into his kingdom:-

1. Outright rejection of following Jesus (52-56)
2. Poorly thought-through commitment – failing to count the cost of following Jesus (57-58)
3. Procrastinating commitment; delaying the decision to follow Jesus until the ‘right time’ (59-60)
4. Indecisive commitment; hanging on to the old life whilst still following Jesus (61-62)
